The core function of Banana AI is local image processing. We prioritize your privacy through the following practices:

• Your Images: All image processing (Background Removal, AI Filters, etc.) is performed locally on your device using on-device AI models. We DO NOT upload, store, or have access to your original or processed images.
• Personal Identity: We do not require account registration or collect your name, email, or telephone number unless you contact us voluntarily for support.

2. Information We May Collect

To improve our App's performance and stability, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information:

• Device Information: Model, OS version, and unique device identifiers used for aggregate analytics.
• App Usage Data: Feature usage counts, performance metrics, and error logs.
• Firebase Tools (Planned): We may integrate Google Firebase in the future to collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage metrics. This data is used solely to identify technical issues and improve the user experience.

3. Permissions

The App requires the following permissions to provide its features:

• Storage/Media Access: Necessary to read images you choose to edit and save the processed results back to your device storage.
• Internet Access: Required to download AI models, update files, and optionally communicate with analytics services once enabled.

4. Data Retention

Since your image editing is local, no user content is retained on any of our servers. Any technical data or analytics collected via third-party tools (like Firebase) is kept only for the period necessary to improve the service.

5. Your Rights

Under international privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), you have the right to request access to the data we hold about you or ask for its deletion. Given our minimal data collection, you can typically exercise these rights by clearing the App's cache or uninstalling the App.
